Food Safety
If your student organization is serving food, please follow the guidelines and conditions listed below:
- If you are using a food vendor in the City of Toronto, please visit the DineSafe website here. For establishments in Durham Region, please click here.
- Campus groups who wish to have food at an event must receive approval through the ‘Booking Form‘. Please submit full information for your supplier including an address and menu items.
- Any special procedures you must follow will be provided with your event approval. For detailed food procedures, please refer to the Campus Groups Handbook.
- You cannot sell/distribute food that was prepared “at home”. The food source must be a licensed and inspected manufacturer or retailer.
